Seaside maths

Neptune Class continued the seaside theme in maths this week and decorated their windows with sandcastles that were topped with fraction flags.

The children had to count how many squares were on each flag and then shade in a given fraction in different colours and then write a number sentence to explain what fraction of a quantity was shown in their flag.  They enjoyed this lesson lots and their classroom windows look great too!
