Mrs Mulreany’s summer holiday

Hello to everyone.  I hope you have all had a happy and enjoyable summer break.

Due to family commitments, we stayed close to home this year but still had lots of lovely days out. It was great to catch up with family, friends and past work colleagues. This involved plenty of good food and drinks.

I also spent time in London with my husband, Brendan. The weather was terrific so we did lots of walking. We visited: Regents Park, Wapping, The Cutty Sark at Greenwich , travelled on the Thames and best of all…went up 1000ft to the viewing deck on the 72nd floor of The Shard. What a view!  Here are a few photos of Tower Bridge, Cutty Sark, St Katherine’s Dock, Camden Lock and at top of The Shard.

I found this “little free library” box at the edge of a pavement in Wapping….a great idea.

See you all next week and look forward to hearing what everyone has been up to.

Best wishes from Mrs Mulreany.
