On Friday 2nd February, KS1 children and staff came to school ready to board the Titanic! We had lots of first class passengers, a few third class, some crew members and even a ship’s dog!
In the morning the children boarded the Titanic, with the first class passengers entering along a red carpet and being welcomed by Captain Smith, well three Captain Smiths!
The third class passengers had to undergo a quick health inspection before boarding.
Once on board, all passengers and crew were welcomed by Captain Smith who told them all about the luxurious facilities that they could experience, including the Turkish Baths, the gymnasium, the dining rooms and the swimming pool and lots more.
It was then time to sail so as we left the dock we were waved off by lots of spectators. Bon voyage!
